Plant Evolutionary and Ecological Genomics
My group is interested in plant genetics, genomics and cytogenetics, addressing questions of an evolutionary and ecological nature. There is a focus on the processes and consequences of interspecific hybridisation and polyploidy in plants, as well as an interest on the origin and ecological consequence of plant genome sizes.
If you are interested in joining the group as a postgraduate or postdoctoral research please contact me. Marie Curie Fellowships are available, and periodically PhD studentships become available too.
We welcome advances you make and can help you apply for studentships available from specific sources, such as Chinese Scholarship Council, Conacyt (Mexico), HEC Pakistan and Science without Borders (with Brazil) studentships (click PhD studentships or email me).
